No matter what you’re trying to accomplish I can almost guarantee it’s better done with practice. Whether your body needs time to adapt to a physical task or your mind needs momentum to better handle the skills necessary.
The former is especially true for athletic endeavors, your body needs time and practice to create the muscle memory needed. Of course, this muscle memory can be lost over time once you stop practicing.
Which is precisely what has happened to my body. Now an exercise routine that would have been a breeze a year and a half ago makes me lightheaded and fatigued. I used to train under a professional who pushed me to my limits every week, forcing my muscles to keep up. Hence why I had a 16% BMI, could run through an hour-long cardio/strength building session and still be in beast mode.
I want my body to be healthier and stronger, so I’m going to start practicing every damn day to make it just that. Hard work is the only way to get real results– I’ve seen it.
Practice might not make perfect, but it will make progress every time.
