This past week my plans changed a bit.
Originally I was going to do Zendesk as my project of the week… but after careful consideration, I decided that TextExpander would be a much better option, specifically because I’d really like to try and use TextExpander while working on my Zendesk presentation.
The above situation is one reason in particular why I love working in an environment like this. I get to decide how I’m going to go about things– and I get full responsibility if it doesn’t work out. Kinda like real life, right? If I were in a traditional school setting I would have been given an assignment, or at best given a list of assignments to choose from. I would be quite a bit more restricted to the defined parameters given to me, here I am not.
Philosophy aside, I really like the way my project is coming along. I’m currently on schedule and should stay that way until the project is complete. My next two programs are slightly daunting, which may require a bit more forethought. Zendesk and Salesforce are both large and much more intricate than my last two programs. More study time I suppose!
On & Up!!!
